Pacha Mama Organic Touriga Nacional

This organic Touriga shows characteristic Blackberry, blueberry and plums with a touch of spice and lifted violets. Medium bodied with beautiful intensity and fruit purity, wild raspberries, bramble, blackberries and dark chocolate. Grippy tannins providing support and length. The grapes were harvested from the Landsborough Vineyard in the heart of the Victorian Pyrenees. This certified organic vineyard was planted in 2009 by M. Chapoutier on a mixture of clay, siltstone, quartz and shale on a deep, iron rich subsoil requiring minimal irrigation. This cool climate, low yielding vineyard is managed by hand by Cory Hope who uses biodynamic principals along with the cool weather patterns and unique soil profiles to grow balanced, elegant fruit.
