Giustini 'Avoglia' Primitivo

In 1991, Giuseppe purchased his first hectares of vines outside San Giorgio Ionico, a small village that falls within the Primitivo di Manduria DOC, hosting unique soils of clay, sand, and shells and a location just 5 meters from the sea. In 2005, the winery produced their first vintage wines of Negroamaro, and since, have continued to produce wines of indigenous varieties true to the region’s history. Giuseppe is at the heart of the company, and applies the experience of four generations to grow grapes of the highest quality in his vineyards. His sons Salvatore & Federico are right beside him, using Giuseppe as a reference while they lead the company into the future.
