Fiegl Villa Dugo "Sauvignon Blanc"

The Fiegl family has cultivated vineyards in Oslavia since 1782 - Oslavia is the cradle of viticulture in the Collio, the most important wine area of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. Fruit for their Villa Dugo wines comes from the Isonzo Valley, West of Oslavia, where almost all of the viticultural work is performed manually a necessity due to the steepness of their vineyards with treatments kept to a reasonable minimum. Rich soils and warmer temperatures allow for the cultivation of a wide range of varietals, without any compromise in terms of quality. This crisp, light Sauvignon Blanc is mineral and refreshing, perfect for light seafood and vegetarian dishes.
