Municipal Flor Savagnin

100% cool climate Savagnin from high altitude granitic soils. The Savagnin was pressed on arrival at the winery to keep freshness, then the juice allowed to settle followed by fermentation of 46 days. Following fermentation and MLF the wine was moved to barrel for 36 months ageing under flor. Bottled unfined and unfiltered Tasting Note: Very lifted and complex with finger lime, lemon, sea-spray, nutty notes and hints of flor funk on the nose. Amazing on the palate with exceptional length, weight and texture, retains excellent fresh citrus characters of lemon, lime and mandarin in addition to delicate nuttiness and sea-spray notes.
