Touriga Nacional2023 McLaren Vale Touriga “An expressive and powerful wine, reflecting the bold character of this Portuguese varietal.” Opening with deep, rich aromas of dark berries—blackberries, plums, and a touch of mulberry— supported by the toasted oak character and aromatic hints of liquorice, violets and anise. A subtle undercurrent of earthy spices, such as clove and cinnamon, weaves through, enhancing the wines deep fruit profile. The palate is full-bodied and robust, with velvety tannins that provide structure and depth. The dark fruit flavours dominate, followed by a layer of liquorice, dark chocolate, and toasted oak, imparting richness and warmth. There’s a lovely balance of ripe fruit and savory elements, with a lingering finish of spice, making it both bold and refined. 750ml 13.9% ABV
