What is Finestro?

Finestro is a digital marketplace that makes it easy for you to shop and buy wine online. We connect people who like wine directly with people who make wine.


Finestro is not a wine club. There are no sign-up fees, no monthly payments and no mixed boxes of wine turning up at your house, featuring wine you’re not too sure about. Finestro is just like a shop with home delivery options – you can purchase what you want, when you want, with no hidden costs.


Finestro lets you browse wine by type, grape, region, price, or even map search. Think of the map as a fun way to digitally travel a wine region and explore the wineries within.


You can create an account with Finestro to keep track of your orders, or you can browse and buy as a guest. Whichever you choose, Finestro makes it easy for you to shop and buy wine online.

How do I place an order?

To place an order, simply select the wine product you wish to purchase and ‘add to cart’. You can add multiple products from any winery to your cart, and pay from them all when you check out.


Payment for an order can be made by Google Pay, Apple Pay, Visa and MasterCard, as well as any other methods which may be clearly advertised on the website.

How much does delivery cost and when will my wine be delivered?

Products purchased through Finestro can be shipped to most locations in Australia, and internationally.


Finestro facilitates your purchase directly from the producer and our model takes into account the delivery cost of your purchase. So, the price you see is the price you pay.

Where do you ship to?

We ship to all states and territories in Australia, except the Northern Territory.

We can also organise international shipping. For all international orders, please contact the Finestro team to arrange a quote for delivery charges. Shipping prices will vary based on the destination country and product weight.

Why don't you ship orders to the Northern Territory?

Under the Northern Territory Liquor Act 2019, businesses must have an interstate retailer's licence to sell liquor from a place outside the Northern Territory for delivery to a person or location in the Northern Territory. For this reason, Finestro is unable to ship to this region.

Can you ship to a business?

Yes. We can ship products to your business.

Simply enter the business address when finalising your purchase on the Finestro website, and we’ll ensure your delivery reaches you at work.

Who will deliver the wine?

Once your order is processed and confirmed through Finestro, it is then prepared for shipment by the producer or supplier you’ve selected products from. Orders are dispatched through various shipping and freight providers.


Each producer or supplier may utilise a network of shipping and freight providers, which may vary from time to time depending upon your location and the location of the producer or supplier.

What happens if nobody's there to accept the delivery?

If you are not present at the time of delivery, the shipping or freight provider may leave your order with a Post Office or alternative parcel pick-up point. A note with collection details will be left at your address.


You can elect to have your order left in a safe place at the delivery address, if no one is present at the time of delivery. You can do this by entering clear, delivery instructions when finalising payment for your order through Finestro.

Can you ship to a PO Box?

Sorry, we do not ship to PO Boxes.

How do I cancel my order?

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact the Finestro team as soon as possible.


You can email us at returns@finestro.com.au and we will make all attempts to cancel your order and refund the purchase amount.

What can I do if I don't like the wine?

We hope you will enjoy all the wines listed with Finestro. However, we understand that sometimes, you may not be satisfied with a product you have purchased.


If this happens, please contact the Finestro team as soon as possible. Email us at returns@finestro.com.au and we'll resolve the issue.

How do I find the right wines to buy?

We understand that sometimes buying wine can be a tricky task.


Finestro provides an integrated search experience that allows you to compare wine products via various search tools and filters, including grape varietal, vineyard, country, region and price. These search tools help to narrow down product options, and offer a nice variety of wines to discover.


From time to time, we will also promote select wine products via ‘exclusive offers’ or Story posts. Wines featured in these offers are generally great value, well liked and recommended by wine drinkers.
